How the application process works
We want our application process to be as stress-free as possible, so we’ve outlined every step of the process below, so you know exactly what to expect from when you submit your application to when you arrive on campus.
1. Apply online
Firstly, complete our online application form. You don’t need to do this all at once as we’ve made it possible for you to save your progress along the way. However, you should still make sure you apply with enough time to organise your visa – which can take up to several weeks.
2. Wait for your advisor to get in touch
We will respond to your application by phone within 48 hours. You will be introduced to one of our dedicated student enrolment advisors who will support you throughout the entire process.
3. Receive your offer letter
If your application is successful, we will send you an offer letter. We will then talk you through your next steps. Your offer letter will contain any conditions you need to meet to study with us, as well as explaining your fees and payment plan.
4. Confirm your offer
By confirming your offer as soon as possible, you can secure your place – then you can start thinking about your accommodation, visas and travel plans.
5. Pay your fees
To confirm your offer, you first need to:
- pay the confirmation payment
- return your signed acceptance form.
Find out when your fees are due and how to pay on our fees page.
6. Receive your CAS
After meeting the conditions of your offer letter and paying any outstanding fees, your advisor will issue your Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS). This is the point you can apply for your visa.
7. Plan for your visas and accommodation
As part of applying online with us, you gain access to completely free, expert advice on applying for your visa and booking accommodation. Once you have confirmed your place and met all the conditions listed in your offer letter, you can access this guidance. They may also recommend a local free of charge visa service.
8. Plan for your arrival
You’re ready to start preparing for your arrival in Leeds and beginning your journey with us. Closer to your arrival date, you will also receive a complimentary induction pack, full of everything you need to know about beginning university life in Leeds.
